'' Say No To School Uniforms''

I am here to talk about why we shouldn’t wear school uniforms. Arguments over school uniforms have been going on since the beginning of school. Even though I go to a school where I have to wear a uniform I don’t think that students should wear them.
I disagree with President Clinton's quote because students should be allowed to express themselves by being allowed to dress the way they want to dress. Bill Clinton said in his 1996 states of the Union Address that students should wear uniforms. It would help stop violence caused by clothing and because schools need to teach good values and citizenship.
Uniforms are bad for many reasons. First, of all wearing the same color and outfit gets dull and ugly. School uniforms won’t stop inequality as many of the supporters wearing say. Violence can still happen with or without uniforms and students will still find ways to compare their clothes. It may be the jacket they wear to school or the sneakers they wear in gym class. Students will find a way to compete uniform wise. It also stops peer pressure. Just like it says in ‘’Say No To School Uniforms’’ students will want to follow the latest fashion trends.
These are the reasons school uniforms can’t solve the problems their supporters say they will solve. In conclusion I think wearing school uniforms is a bad thing. Not a good thing to wear school uniforms.
